Interrogation, follows a young detective, struggling with the interrogation of a soulless murderer.

Newly promoted detective Rachel Kove must interrogate her partner, Alix, who has ruined her boyfriend’s life and driven him to kill himself. In the story, we are taken step by step through Alix’s process.

Set in a near-future intense interrogation room, Kove embarks on her most important interview to date by immersing Alix in the crime locations and evidence. Over the course of the interrogation, the murderer tests Kove’s skill and resilience as they battle for control of the narrative and space.

Shot in Distortion Studios in 2022, Interrogation is the first short film produced by Distortion Productions.

Written and Directed by Steve Garratt. The film has gone on to win Best Sci-Fi Short at Cannes Short Film Festival and Best Sci-Fi Short at the Best Short Film Awards.
